Local Legislative Delegation to Speak at the DWBC Meeting on December 9 December 1, 2009

In December we host our local legislative delegation before they go back into session in January. The state budget is in free fall and all state funded programs, schools, and essential services are facing significantly diminished resources – some may even disappear. It will take great minds, creativity and cooperation, and the will to make tough choices in order to survive this very difficult economic period. Your legislators need to hear from you and we all need to consider their priorities and how they plan to approach them. Please join us for this important discussion.

If our lunch is sold out before you make a reservation, or if you prefer to listen to the program and forgo lunch, seating in a “Program Area” may be available for $10.00, beverages included. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions with your RSVP. We acknowledge every reservation, so give Sharon a call if you have not received a confirmation.

When: Wednesday, December 9, 2009
Where: The Spice of Life Event Center, located at the Flatirons Golf Course, 5706 Arapahoe Road, Boulder, CO.
Time: Doors open at 11:00 AM. Buffet opens at 11:30 AM. Program begins promptly at 12:00 PM and wraps up at 1:00 PM. Cost: $18 for lunch and program. $10 for program only.
